Swaner Preserve Nature Walks
Home / Park City Area Guide / Park City Events / Swaner Preserve Nature WalksSwaner Preserve Nature Walks
SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 – OCTOBER 1, 2022
Join us for a nature walk on the Preserve! You will learn about wetland science, natural plant and animal species, and the history of the Swaner Preserve. Plus, you can enjoy epic views of Park City and the surrounding mountains. Nature walks are conducted year-round, rain or shine, sun or snow! Snowshoes are available to rent upon request.
Depending upon the time of year, lucky hikers may see an abundance of birds, elk, or even nesting sandhill cranes!
Tallgrass, uneven footing and wet ground may be encountered and can be challenging for younger children and some seniors. Participants who do not wish to do the entire 1 hour tour are welcome to turn around at any time during the walk.
Please come prepared for outdoor conditions: Sturdy boots or shoes (close-toed) and long pants are recommended along with a water bottle.
These tours are great for all ages and can be tailored to the needs of your group.
